Dedicating The Irish Blessing

Each of the churches or groups who submitted a recording to The Irish Blessing dedicated their blessing to a local facility that has been working throughout the pandemic.  You can view the dedications here.

We would invite each church or group who participated to contact the facility or organisation they dedicated their blessing to and let them know!

Since its release on Sunday it is evident that The Irish Blessing has reached audiences far beyond our own shores and has become a blessing for a global audience, at a time when the world is in need of blessing on so many fronts.

We consider everyone who watches, shares or prays, The Irish Blessing, to be a participant in it, and would invite each of you to dedicate it to a local facility or organisation and to let them know that you are dedicating it to them. We know how it feels when we hear that someone is praying for us. Let’s share the prayer letting people know that we pray it in gratitude for them and for their safety and protection.

Please feel free to use The Irish Blessing in any Christian worship service, or to record a version of it with your own group. Everything you will need to do that can be found here.

Aaronic Blessing

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make his face shine on you
And be gracious to you;
The Lord turn his face toward you
And give you peace.
